4:00AM wake up - ouch! I haven't woken up this early in a looooonnnnngggg time.
5:00 AM - pick up friends

5:30 AM - Head north on I-91 to Salem, NY.
8:30 AM (Normal wake-up time) - Arrive at Salem, NY.
9:00 - Cass mapped out her race within the race. She and Eric planned to support the local economy by hitting a coffee shop in each town the race traveled through.
10:30 AM - Pain ensues
1:00 PM - Smiles
Me on the podium makes #1 fan happy.
